Nominating[]
To nominate an article or media to be featured please follow the following instructions:
1.Add a new section in this pages talk page with the name of the article/media.
2.Add a link to it (to the article/media) it that section you added.
3.Type down why you think it should be featured.
4.State what you want, whether you want it to be shown on the main page or be given the FA-Star (the Article quality star) or both.
4.Save it and it will automatically appear here, do not edit this page to add your section, unless it is to make this page better, please edit the talk page if not.
5.Wait to see who supports and opposes, and until it is approved or declined by an admin.
Voting[]
To vote simply go to the section you want to vote on, edit it and add "Support" or "Oppose" or "Neutral" in bold and your reason in normal text.
For Admins[]
When you approve or decline a request, please state your reason. Also there should be more supports that opposes, neutrals do not count. Then edit Nature Wiki:Featured Article or Nature Wiki:Featured Media depending on the request, on that page delete the former text or media from there and for an article copy and paste the first part of that article up to the length you can so it will not extend the main page. Also for media, make a smaller version on the featured media page, delete the old one and add the new one, also enough to fit the main page without extending it. I think this picture should be featured because it is a nice example of a landspout, plus it was the only picture I could really find, and trust me, I looked in many places. This is a very good quality photo of such a rare phenomenon, usually rare pictures are only just good enough and this one has been taken and is much more than "just good enough". --rya₪ // blab blab blab 07:36, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

Dinosaur[]
User:Puffcyclopedia (I know I didn't spell that right) made the article, I helped with grammar and some other stuff, and it's gotten long enough to, in my opinion, be a featured article. What does everyone think? --Ryan Talk 11:50, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
