Waterspout
From the Nature Wiki, the free online encyclopedia of Nature
A waterspout is an intense columnar vortex that appears as a funnel-shaped cloud over water, connected to a cumuliform cloud. In the common form, it is a non-supercell tornado over water that brings the water upward. The waterspout is usually weaker than most of its land counterparts.
